Effects of Heavy metal pollution on Omega -3 levels in Fish:Fish accumulates omega-3 PUFAs through the aquatic food web from the phytoplankton Consumed.Unfortunately,over exploitation of the aquatic Fish stock,which has resulted in drastic reduction of fish catches,threatens this important source of the essential PUFAs.
