Dr. Alice Ojwang holds a PhD in Science with Dietetics from North-West University, South Africa. She has more than 20 years of experience working in obesity & type 2 diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) prevention & she was instrumental in shaping the dietetic profession in Kenya. She is a Practitioner, Researcher & Mentor. Research focus includes diet, lifestyle and its influence on prevention & management of obesity & T2DM, using digital platform to impact large populations across Africa.

I am an enthusiastic, energetic and a self-motivated individual. I am focused; result oriented, and I possess proven management skills, achieved through vast experience in nutrition, working in very challenging environments. I have held Positions in Sub-Sahara Africa, UK and USA working on short and long term projects. Additionally, I am an accomplished trainer, educator, facilitator, mentor and a Researcher.
