Dr. Ing. Lawrence Esho’s broad scholarly field is Urban and Regional Spatial Planning. He has also developed interests in Urban Design, Urban Management and Infrastructure Planning. His specific research interests are in the area of urban informality, where he has critically explored the link between informality, urban space and urban planning. His research in these areas tempered by his background in sociology, consequently introducing an advocacy flair to his writings.
